Artist's Comments

The surrounding mountains, on the morning of our chair-life excursion. It rained all day, until we got up to 4,000 feet... not a raindrop to be had. xD Instead, we all got sunburnt.

Yes! ;_; Atleast, the part I was in. It was very foresty, but also very mountainy. We hiked for a few miles till we got a to a cliff face (that we repelled down) then continued to this plataeu (sp) WE climbed up a ravine in its side and camped on it's top. That evening I was on one of it's edges. There was a small clearing around this edge. (most of the plateau was woody) The view there was stunning. I mean, I was FLABBERGASTED. I looked straight into a valley, but from the hight I was at, trees were indestinguishable. There were lakes here and there, and past the trees were grasslands. The sun was setting down the middle of the valley, between the two hills/mountains that formed the valley. I sat right there on that ledge for two hours, just looking.
